My boss called me last Sunday to ask what days I wanted off. I said 'I just want Halloween off I don't care about my other day off fit me in anywhere else'.
Not only do I work six days this week, she gave me off yesterday. yes, I was scheduled to work on the day that I requested off. But, it wasn't such a big deal, for I was scheduled to work 8am-2pm so I would have plenty of time to enjoy the day.
Well, just last night I got a call saying my schedule has been changed. From 8am-2pm to 2pm until closing! All because this jerkwad who only works part time anyways 'didn't want to come in'.
Someone tell me, honestly, how often does Halloween fall on a Saturday? hmm? I checked and the next one isn't until 20-fucking-15. And whats the big deal? It doesn't matter to me about the candy or the dressing up...
I haven't been able to spend any time with Zach lately because I started working. In the past few weeks I've gotten to see him twice, once being yesterday. He can't go out after school on weekdays, and his fucking mother gives him an 11pm curfew on fridays and saturdays. I don't get off until 11 most nights. For godsakes the day before my day off I stayed two extra hours to help them close the store. I wasn't even scheduled to! I was supposed to leave at nine.
So, the one day where I could be happy and spend time with zach has been completely ruined.
I just want it to end.
